E’ One of Europe’s most famous adventouring itineraries, it winds along a spectacular former military dirt road between the Maritime Alps and the Ligurian Alps. The route connects the mountains of Limone Piemonte to the Ligurian Sea near Ventimiglia, consistently running at an altitude between 1,800 and 2,100 meters along the Italian-French border.
